A few decades ago in Ecuador, a 12-year-old missionary kid became deathly ill from drinking unsafe water. Not knowing how to treat it, his parents radioed Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky and were able to talk with a parisitology professor. He was able to diagnose the boy’s illness for the parents and gave advice on how to treat it. The boy lived and grew up to have a passion to help save lives of people who need pure water. As an adult, Duvon McGuire, the missionary kid, began to develop and invent a water disinfecting system of his own, which he hopes will be something more available for missionaries to take to other countries.

This Passion grew to produce an inexpensive and portable device which can purify 55 gallons of water a minute, enough for10,000 people a day, is available, relatively inexpensive, easy to install, and easy to use. The missing factor is you. You can learn to install this system, you can donate money to help pay for systems or the expenses for others to go, and you can become aware and spread the word so that others can aid in this life saving project.

Most of you seeing this web page have no idea of a world where a child dies every five seconds, not from war or pestilence,
but because they do not have water that is safe to drink, something we take for granted.
The goal of water4Ghana is to bring safe water to as many people of Ghana as possible. We have chosen Ghana as this is where the Holy Spirit has led us for now, but we are are praying also that out efforts will encourage others to be led to other countries, large and small who are also in desperate need of life saving, disease preventing, pure water.

The Tragedy
Over 5,000,000 children die from polluted water every year.
